Corporate Governance
Corporate Governance is more and more becoming a number one focus of many corporates around the world. The best practice frameworks seem to be evolving as are the measures that ensure good corporate governance practices.
How do you ensure that your increasingly demanding role translates into all round good corporate governance in your organization? How can you keep advancing your skills, get the relevant skills and align your self with the best practices world-wide.
The International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the Eastern, Central and Southern African Federation of Accountants (ECSAFA) implore all member bodies to comply with a Code of Ethics that meets or exceeds the stringent requirements they have set for use by professional bodies across the globe.
Based on the foregoing, the Botswana Institute of Accountants brings you a two day Corporate Governance and Corruption Workshop, a platform where you can debate and get answers to the above questions. The two day workshop will cover the following topics:
- Time to re-think Global Governance

- Directors and their responsibilities
- Functioning of the Board
- Financial Reporting and Communications
